My First Update! (by Bobo, 2/7/02)

Hello fellow kid touchers. How ya doin? So this is very exciting for me, not only was I granted my own messegeboard corner to play with but here I am doing an update. I certainly am moving up in the world. Now, don’t think this was just given to me for my looks. NO!!!! I had to work long and hard, day and night to achieve these blessings. So after I wiped my chin, got off my knees, and thanked Kluv, I got directly to work giving the mafia the best of my love. You ungrateful bastards. So lets chat………………………………

Bobo’s Corner: I told Kluv that I really loved the voting feature on the messegeboard and would love to set up an area where we could vote for some major entertainment awards then compare our picks with the actual winners. Then we could all yell and scream about how undeserving they are and how Spielberg hasn’t made a good movie since Duel and what Altman was thinking casting all those fancy British people with their crazy accents. “I mean, really. Helen Mirren. Don’t you mean Helen Moron.?" Then we’d all throw are heads back with a hearty laugh. Mmm…….good times. So, lo and behold I received Bobo’s Corner and quickly set up the 8th Annual SAG Awards. So feel free to jump on there, vote, drop a comment and bicker about the meaning of the word “ensemble.” Awards soon to come up: Grammy’s, Oscars, and The First Annual Peoples Choice To Sleep With Deeb Awards.

Alright, now lately we’ve had our board shat upon buy a Mr. Rick Cockinmouth. Now, I for one can tell you that when I saw that he had posted on every topic, it was very reminiscent of our fair Deeb, who, during The Jedi Wars, had pulled the very same stunt. Yet this fellow had a particular flair that enraged some and sent the rest crawling back into their Mothers womb. I’ll never forget the ghastly morning I read this. His response to my post:

GO TO HELL.

I can only say the time I was anally raped and forced to watch all 7 episodes of “What’s Happening, Now!” on a loop while pleasing Star Jones orally paled in comparison to how I felt at this very moment. I don’t know what makes a man go to such lengths of cruelty and I hope I never do. I now check the board with one hand over my eyes and another in the middle of my pants.

OK Now. Last thing. This February 20th, a Wednesday night at 6:30 PM, I’ll be performing at Stand-Up New York.(B’way/78th St) This is a whole new adventure for me and I’m having a blast trying material I’ve been writing for quite awhile, on stage for the first time. I hope none of you can make it. However on the odd chance you should get lost on the upper west side and wander into the club I’ll make sure to avoid eye contact with you and leave out the back.

Well that wraps up my very first update, I hope you enjoyed it and hope there will be more to come. Kluv told me that if I work hard and dedicate myself I might have a future in this. If only I could stop gagging and just swallow.

“….and with a spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down. In the most delightful way.”

He's Baaaaaaack. (by Kluv, 2/5/02)

Hi kids. Well, today on the messageboard we had a lovely visit from an old friend, or rather an old antagonist, by the name of Rick Throbincock. You might remember him from the waning days of the Jedi Wars. He was the guy that hated everything, and made a number of folks very very angry (I think Deeb popped a blood vessel in his forehead at some point...). Anywho, he's back, and he's more angry than ever. Read on to taste his venom. --Kluv

..........

Yes, I’m back. Back to save all you cretins from the thing that ails you most: BORING MESSAGEBOARD POSTS. That is all that I read. Lame postings about lame shit. No spice. No anger. No passion. It makes one long for the days when we were at each other’s throats. But that is past. Long gone. I’ve settled to the realization that a tame Deeb is a lame Deeb. So let me do what I do best:

Things I’m sick of.

By Rick Throbincock

I’m sick of Ire and his Boston pride. I’m sick of Sperm and his bandwagon, frontrunning Yankee loving spew. I’m sick of Deeb and his nonsensical nonsense. I’m sick of Kluv and his complete abandonment of this site. I’m sick of Frants and his critic loving, ass kissing movie views. I’m sick of Maguire’s career, Barth’s rantings, and Duck’s imsomnia. Although it’s a welcome change from another conversation about his cock.

Well I’ve got to admit I’m happy about one thing: Deeb’s leaving! Although I do hear that Chicago has the internet, but I’m pretty sure Deeb won’t have the cushy sit-in-front-of-my-computer-do-nothing-all-day job. Too bad. No more Oscar DVD’s for you.

So I read the Jedi Awards. Word is Sperm’s still crying over another loss to the West Wing. Couldn’t even win when two of the ten voters WORK FOR THE SHOW!!! Could have had that win if he pulled China’s head from his girlfriend’s ass.

A post about Jedi Pen Name. Hmmm. Did that happen like two years ago? Come on keep up with the times. Even if they suck. And let me just say that nothing makes me sicker than someone who has to hide behind a bogus name to take a poke at others. Such cowardice. Such a lack of… Wait…..what? Blow me.

Well, that’s all I got for now. So bring your best. Bring the pain. Bring respect, or a lack of, back to this site. Not sight.

I’ll see you soon.

1,2,3...Repeater. (by Kluv, 1/25/02)

Thought I'd take advantage of some down time here in Stuckeyville to drop a little update bomb on the page. The GiMpy girl is doing well in Ohio with her production of Forbidden Broadway. She got some serious game, according to the reviews in the papers (check out one of them on the messageboard). She sends her love & hopes y'all are doing just fine back in "the world." As for myself, I've been keeping my mind limber by spending my off-hours jam-packed with sleep and plenty of Madden 2002.

And speaking of that wondrous game that be called Madden, I would just like to applaud the work of this years NFL expansion team from Ithaca, NY: the Mafia. This weekend, the Mafia look to exact revenge up on the 49'ers for their embarrassing Week 1 loss, when San Fran comes to Jedi Stadium in Ithaca, NY. Look for NFL leading rusher Eric Lorenz to have a breakout game behind the all-star blocking of Joey & Erica Steinhagen. The Mafia receiving corps could be the key to this game, as dropped balls in key situations have been the downfall of the Mafia all year. Lets hope that Duck, Matt, Ben, & Brantley can all step it up and put some points on the board. Another item needed to secure a win for the Mafia is a strong defensive outing. Keep an eye on Bob Barth as he takes advantage of the Niners' offensive line when they focus on double (and triple!) teaming the Ithaca defensive Captain, Corey Reed. All in all, it should be an exciting game, and Head Coach Jack Hrkach is looking to propel his team to the tops of the division in their inaugural season.

Big football this weekend. Championship Sunday to be held at Deeb's house, in a semi-formal farewell to Astoria's Old Republic... As Deeb, Sperm, & Ave are all leaving the land--Astoria is now in our hands, where we look to bring the New Republic to even greater heights than before. Also, there is rumor of a giant-sub. I'd like to see the Pats pick up a win.

Rob Johnson is available for you Huston Texans. He's totally worth it.

Peep the new Weezer album over at their website. They've been working on the new album, "Maladroit", for the last few weeks. They've been posting the songs as they work on them, and then updating them as they change. Right now you can get about five of them, but they rotate. I have the whole album as it stands now, and it's pretty freakin' awesome. Quite facinating to see the progression of an album. Weezer rokks.

Also, I just caved in and got HBO after watching the Golden Globes on Sunday...anyone know when the quality shows like Band of Brothers, Six Feet Under, and G-String Divas are on? I need to program my VCR...

Alright. That's all for now. Back to work, the master calls.

Hiatus (1/10/02)

Almost a month has gone by since last this puppy was touched. I trust that the holidays were as great as mine (with GiMpy getting me the Deuce, along with games and goods for it from friends and family, it was quite possibly the best christmas on record). I've played my brains out with GTAIII and Madden 02' and Bat-min...but the new job @ Ed has tempered my playing a bit (which is a good thing, I suppose).

Things are going well for much of the mafia (the new job rules), and things are alive and kicking--in fact, there are a number of events coming up that you should be sure to go and check out. Go on over to the Events page and check them out when you're done here.

Also, the Jedi Awards are wrapping up this week. After a number of weeks of voting, most have cast their favorites. If you haven't, be sure to put them on the board or email them to me by this weekend. I'll be putting up the results (hopefully) by then.

Great pictures were taken @ the New Years festivities, hopefully I'll be able to get the pics up soon on the site, once I make some room for them--fun shots of all your favorites, including the Haps man, who stopped in town for some 7&7's.

That's all for tonight, as both bed & playstation are calling me...but who will win? Which is the stronger? Only time will tell.... (More than likely, the fact that JB is on Dave tonight will be the ultimate winner--can't pass up a chance to see Jables. Also, he's hosting the SNL this week. And he's on howard tomorrow. And O&A sometime as well. That man is everywhere you want to be.)

But in the meantime, if you're tired of waiting another month for an update to the site--then get off your can and write one yourself. If you do, and then email it to me, I'll put it up on the site. Takes much less time than doing it myself, so it'll go up nice-n-quick.

This is Stretch Armstrong, and I'm ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut. Liberty City in the house.

Do we actually DO things anymore?
(February, 2002)

I hate to tell ya kids, but I'm so out of the loop, it's sad. I know Mrs. Grundy has gigs, I know others like BA and GiMp are in shows, but I haven't actually been able to sort through all the dust that keeps piling up on all the event emails... My solution: I belive I'll be updating the events page so that it will be a section where everyone can post their events without relying on me (that way, I don't go putting up your event notice the day after it happened!). So....as soon as I get some time, keep an eye on that. Till then, Check out the outdated other events still listed on the current page. Toodles.
