Sloe Gin Fizz (11/14/01)

Have been inundated with Mafia Events as of late, and have just updated a number of them (Sorry to Salieri, for whom I didn't get to update the Events in time for his show...). Check them out here. Also, new Ed Alert on the messageboard. In case you've noticed, I have attempted some graphical and layout modifications in attempt to decrease the file size (and load time) of the page. We'll see how it goes.

Got my Harry Potter tickets today. Midnight on Friday, baby. Imperio! Oh, and if you're bored & got an itch for some reading, Jedi Frants hooked me up w/ a link to a piece by Michael Chabon about the Times' anniversarry.

The pictures from Ithaska Trip 2001 are tanfastic. Don't have enough time or space to put a whole gallery up yet, but I'm working on it. In the meantime, satiate your urges with a wonderous group shot, & by visiting the new Mystery Pic to view and read all about one of our very own finding true love this past weekend. I can't wait until they start calling Rounders "Brother"... Oh, and a big Hell-O to the grand '02 youts that have finally gotten the gumption to join us on the messageboard: Jedis Monkey, Black, & Jersey. Bring it on!

I'm also looking into a possible chat room for the site. Stay tuned....

Back to the workings on some graphical work.

The Entertainer (11/13/01)

No real time to update, just enough to say we had a wonderful time in Ithaska, and are unendingly thankful to our wonderful hosts, Joey Joe Joe and the Ms... Feel free to read the Messageboard and examine our gratitude. If any of the Jedi who went on the Ithacan Excess 2001 Tour would like to write an update describing our adventures, feel free to pen it, and I'll pop it up on the site. I also have tons of pictures from the weekend that I would like to get up here eventually...

Just putting this up to let you know that I'm a tad bit busy working on the Pineapple Project site & some Mrs.Grundy graphics. But, I do have tons of Events to update this week, along with a Mystery Pic for our good friend Darth Rounders.

I'll try and bop on back later this week.

Walken Shangbootie (11/8/01)

The day of days is upon us. Friday, we return to Ithaca. Personally, I have been away for 2.5 years, and my spirit thirsts for Black Forest. The details have seemingly been ironed out, and we have overcome many challenges. The first wave departs during the afternoon hours. I shall be the navigator on the second wave, that of the large troop transport (holding Captain Frants, 1st Mate GiMp, Comms Op Diesel, Engineering Chief J2S, and Best Boy Bobo). The Spermobile is scheduled to fly cover for the transport with a Deeb in the gun turret. Our lodgings will be at the forest moon base of Jedi Ms. and Jedi Joey Joe Joe (who are rumored to have a puppy). So, you won't hear much from us this weekend, but know that we are thinking of you. Drunkenly. Especially Duckles, who was wounded in battle last weekend, and has been assigned to guard the base while we are on leave. Godspeed.

Um, in other news, I have put on up the Hallows Eve pics onto the picture pages, while other galleries have been retired to conserve space. If ever you should desire to see some pictures from the retired galleries, just contact me and I'll give you the hook-up. Oh, new Mystery Link. Be sure to ask A.L.I.C.E. if Brantley smells bad.

Have been having so much fun Instant Messenging Frants this past week, that I have considered creating a chat room for the site. Let me know what you think of the idea...

For those of you that don't know, Jedi Duck filmed an episode of Third Watch earlier this year. Well, the episode has finally arived, and this is what he has to say about it:

Hey everyone!!!

This is a follow up to my last e-mail regarding my shameless self-promotion. If you don't recall, I wrote how I was going to be on the NBC show "Third Watch" soon, and that time has come. My episode, entitled "The Relay," will be playing this Monday night, November 12, at 9PM on your local NBC affiliate. I play Randy, the lovable but misunderstood heroin addict. Look for my greasy hair.

If anyone is in the area, feel free to come watch it at my place, I would love to have people here.

Thanks for watching everyone, and those of you from whom I have not heard, keep in touch!

Brian/Duck

I personally saw the back of his greasy head getting pushed into the ground on the commercial after West Wing last night. Nice bit of acting it was, too.

I think that about does it. It's time for me to finish the official "ITHACA TRIP 2001" CD mix & finish packing. Gotta get me an Ithaca is Gorges shirt. See you on the flipside.

Don't You Hate Pants?  (11/06/01)

Okay. Jedi Frants here. Just purchased a major appliance in Queens, and decided to celebrate by watching an excellent Simpsons Halloween Special and the, as of now questionable, premiere episode of "24."

It's been a crazy week. All Hallow's Eve Party was, I think, a great success. Pictures will be up soon. Spidey-Unit, SuperGimp, Sexually-Ambiguous Bob, and the Sprint PCS guy all made appearances. (If you were not mentioned here, send $20 to I Need Recognition For the Low Points of my Life Fund, PO Box 46 Shut-Up, NY 66666)

Check the boards for the latest info on the UPCOMING WEEKEND OF DYONISIAN EXCESS THAT IS ITHACA 2001! Lost wallets, sweet-talkin' the Texas DMV, and buddying up with the Head of Security at Budget Rent-a-Car make for an interesting few days. But the weekend will be a success, as soon as the mini-van (CD Player included) is obtained.

For those of you not heading to Ithaca this weekend (there will be T-shirts resulting. That's how F'ing good the trip will be), let the many days alone bring you much guilt. No DP Dough, Viva, Rogans, Big Al's, Shortstop, Commons, Pyramid Mall, Moonshadows, Micawbers, College Town, Sounds Fine, Red Carpet, Studio 2, take-off-your-shoes-before-entering-Studio-One, Hrkach excitement for you. But, assuming we survive this one, there may be another.

Keep it real. Get a wallet with a chain. Don't let Pierce Brosnan run your home. And when practicing your spells at home, use the relatively harmless RUBBER WAND issued you at orientation.

Things to see other than the 'Harry Potter' movie.
