tell ya somethin, kids -- when you have a 100 degree fever and you're
coughing up a lung -- try to get some rest. And if you can't get some
rest, then I highly reccomend drowning your pain in the Q. The Golden
NyQuill. It's the nectar of the gods.
So, I trust
everyone is doing well as the holidays rush upon us. The ol' "Ed"
Holiday Pahty is this weekend, and hopefully I'll be fairly rested
and recouperated for it...
...AND
ready for the 4th and GOAL-dstein party! That's right kids, don't
forget about the year's last chance for a little football and fun,
courtesy of our favorite Northern 'Hattan residents, Mollers and J2S!

each other a bit this week, and it's highly enjoyable. Minus the frightening
Croatians that you would normally get at a real pool hall...

gonna be about a foot of snow on the ground out here in Jersey by
tonight. Not sure if I'll make it home. So, while I wait, I make beautiful

enjoying Old Man Winter and the big white batch he's dropped on us.
I'm sure my sister is: her job let everyone out early today, like
they were in goddamn elementary school. And here I am in Northern
Jersey, and I forgot my change of clothes at home. Shit. See you next

A happy
of happiest birthdays to my lady, the GiMp
(she hits the ripe ol' age of 26 today). If you want to send her a
birthday message, then head over to the messageboard and do so, there's.
She'll be checking in from the road often, now that she has a brand
spankin' new Dell laptop. It's quite the sexy machine, let there be
no doubt. In fact, it surpasses any other computer (desk or lap) that
I have ever used -- and soon she will become a computer geek as well.
But until then, she will be entertaining herself with the new Eddie
Izzard DVD and the Sims Unleashed (where you can buy pets for your
sims).
Speaking
of Pets...
Check the
birthday Haiku's to Erin for a story on why Ella
has a pom-pom hanging out of her ass. Seriously.
Over the
break I got to watch the LOTR: FOTR special extended edition DVD.
With over 30 minute of extra footage edited into the film -- this
isn't some slapdash "directors cut". New Music has been
composed, new effects have been created, everything is edited seamlessly
into the film... and it comes with hours and hours of documentaries
and additional material that are all completely separate and unique
from the regular theatrical FOTR dvd. In short, IGN called this the
"Best
DVD Ever Made", and I am forced to wholeheartedly agree with
their review. It's an amazing, amazing dvd. Be sure to pick
it up.
Hmmmmmm......what
else... Oh, I think I'll officially give two thumbs up to "24"
this year. Started watching last year, didn't have time to watch the
rest of the season, started watching again this year... Probably one
of the most original & well written shows on the tele. Plus, Keifer
is making an excellent badass/anti-hero.
Got a crazy
email from Ben-No that had pictures of the "Biggest Woman in
the World." They were quite shocking. But, sadly -- I discovered
that it was all
a hoax. A good one, but a hoax nonetheless. Thanks anyways, Bennyboy.
That's

FRIDAY! It's gonna be the last show in quite some time, thanks

The Wintertime
is upon us, and the world continues to move around. With the holidays
coming, not many events are rumbling out there, but keep your eyes peeled.
