*First Time Visitors, Click HERE Your Redneck Past (2/15/01) I've taken the liberty of posting those Production Stills from the filming of O-Ring this past weekend. And while they are fairly large in size (it'll take a bit to load them), they are quite worth the download time. Go peep the photos here. I'd like to state how much I feel the Oscars are a goddamned sham this year: as Almost Famous wasn't nominated for either Best Pic or Best Director. Talk about an all-around hosing -- if Steve Martin wasn't hosting it this year, I'd probably boycott the damned thing. (Perhaps we should write and tell them how lame they are.) Here's to Kate, Francis, Editing, and Screenplay...Good freakin' luck. ScreW YoU OscaR! Choo-Choo Choose Me (2/14/01) Happy V-Day to all ya'll in cyberworld. Had a hell of a time last night @ the Nets-Lakers game, compliments of Diggity-D. The Duckman, Diesel, Porter, & Myself witnessed the return of the Shaq-a-damia, the Marbury Mania, and the Kobe-dobe's Fame..ee..ah. 'Twas my first NBA game, and with the insane OT action, I couldn't have asked for anything more (Toyota). We got Kobe to look and wave @ us during warmups, and we heckled Shaq until my lungs hurt. Unfortunately, the combination of Hot Doggs + Mountain Dew + Porter's Driving + NYC Streets = Hurling for me when I got home. On top of the yuking though, thanks to my Nets Cheering efforts, I have the worst case of "Pool Lung" (the painful lung feeling you get after swimming all day in a pool) ever. I actually had to stop when I was walking today. Wild. I wonder if that's what it's like to have asthma....
The Darth Okay Okay page seems to be a big hit. Everyone seems to rikey very much. Therefore, I just updated it with a recent email provided by China. He's also teaching me new phrases for the new year: "Sa Dee Fong Ge Ge Cha tchoo?" = "Where is the Car?". So find our Larry's sleeping schedule here.
Now, I got some of the "ORing" production stills from Duck today, but I'll wait to put them up until tomorrow. (I can't blow it all in one night, ya know.) So take note of the upcoming events this weekend --support J'Ave & the crew--and I'll be back same bat-time, same bat-channel.
Keep on rockin' in the free world. Straight Outta Compton... (2/12/01) ...A crazy skinny cracker named Kluv. Hope everyone had a lovely "Lincoln's Birthday" today. Gimp and I bought a couch today, and Frants and Ammmity got to see our 40-minute masterpiece: "O-Ring". Bling Bling! Many members of the Ithaca Mafia know how hilarious Jedi China's dad is...well now everyone can learn for themselves. That's right, the man--the myth--the legend: "PAPA" aka Darth Okay Okay now has his own section on the site to spread his knowledge! He works in computers! Go read Detya's writings! Other than that, I'm audi like Five G's. It's time to watch HHH kick some assikus. Pace. "Do You Have Any Butter For My Baby?" (2/11/01) Well, the PS2 arrived @ Duck's on Friday, and after 10 straight hours of playing, my eye started to swell and I had to go home @ 4:30am. So, I returned on Saturday w/ Gimp in tow, and continued to play some more. It's really one of the wildest things I've seen. I'd have to say Madden is probably my favorite game thus far... The crew of Diesel, Duck, Gimp, O'Neill & Myself ended up making a movie last night (the first in many moons). The opus, "O-Ring: the Story of a Dream", is a fine piece of work. The buzz is that Diesel's performance as "Klaus" is not only the odds-on favorite for best supporting actor @ the HME awards, but that he puts Frants' performance in "3 Boys From Boonton" to shame. Well thought out, entertaining, and thought provoking--"O-Ring" may surpass "Toilet Zone" as the public's favorite HME/Bridge & Tunnel Film. I'll put up some production stills later this week. I hope some of you have inspected the freshly added Links and Tomes sections featuring some of the best websites, and only Jedi writings around, respectively. It is now time to go, but I encourage anyone who has played the "Evil Dictator or Sit-Com Charater?" game to do so one more time...but this time, play as yourself. By doing so, you can find out what Sit-Com Character (or Dictator) you are. It's loads of fun. I, Am Chandler Bing. Could I BE any cooler? |
