*First Time Visitors, Click HERE Stonehenge! (3/14/01) Where the Deamons Dwell, Where the Banshee's Live-- -AND THEY DO LIVE WELL!!!! I've begun a weekly creative outlet for faithful readers (or any interested parties)--it's a weekly Haiku submission. Go on over to the messageboard here, and drop your own 5-7-5'er in. Good un's will be picked to grace the main page here on a weekly basis. It's also quite relaxing and it is sooooooo deep, too. Some people take their haiku seriously. I know there are a couple of you bristachios who read the page on a regular basis, yet you refrain from posting on the messageboard. Well, all you have to do is click that link, and post--no signup necessary--a little haiku. So you can't use the "i can't think of anything to post about" excuse, hos. I would also like to point out that it actually took OVER a month for Bush to break one of his promises...remarkable. I thought he wouldn't last a week. Also, Darth Okay Okay is back with another gem. Detya says: "Ooooooookay Ooooookay!" Lastly, for those who don't know, the Revlon Run/Walk for Women is coming up on the 5th of May, 2001. Mrs. Erica was excellent enough to put a team together, so if you are interested in walking (or running--ha ha!) with us, do so--it's a great experience. If not, feel free to make a donation, it's good fer yer karma!! Check out our team over here. (If you want to join the team, the password is MONKEY!) That's all, folks! Awesome Mix Tape #6 (3/12/01) Sunday eve I was in the company of some of the richest people in the world. The Silicon Summit II was held @ my work last night, and it featured CEO's of THE companies that control our tech lives. All together, those panelists were probably worth a couple billion dollars. It was a strange, yet fascinating experience. So, if anyone has an interest on the internet & technology and where it is headed, check out the replays of it (if only to see my theatre in all it's glory) on THURSDAY, MARCH 15 - 10:00 PM ET -- FRIDAY, MARCH 16 - 1:00 AM ET -- and FRIDAY, MARCH 16 - 4:00 AM ET. Spring is supposedly around the corner, and so, ya'll best begin to get in shape for the yearly fesus of volleyball. I expect bi-monthly games to begin once the temperature breaks 56o, ya got it? Also ye Ithaca Grads, if you haven't already, you can sign up for the Ithaca College Theatre Arts Listserv right over here. If you'd like to read a study on families and the internet's effect on them (that Kluv's talented younger sister helped compile), go here. Now, time to get Raw. Maxwell's Silver Hammer (3/10/01) Spent last night in the company of many Ithaca Mafioso Members. Field Studies came to an end for many upcoming grads, and after a week of being properly motivated by Alumnus (like moi) it was time to drink, catch up, and "net-work". (I would say #1 and #2 are usually the more productive activities seen taking place at the pig-n-whistle). But, I did get to see many folks who (whom?) I havennae seen in a LONG time. Twas' fun. "Big Poppa" Klien was one of those folks, and he seemed to be doin' damn well. There was mention of site-hosing, and proper-domain-age for the ithacamafia with his super-computron--but we'll see what comes about. Speaking of which, it seems that I am 5 Megs over my 15 Meg "Geocities" limit! (yes, geek speak) They haven't warned me yet, nor have they stopped me from uploading more stuff...yet I have seen that the main part of the site exceeds my supposed space by quite a bit. Strange....so watch out for the man.
To continue the IC-theme of this update, Everyone should know that Lee still rocks the Mullet like no other (note the beautiful plumage!). Uncle Jack-o was nowhere to be seen...O' JACK, WHERE ART THOU? The Quesadillas were damn good to munch on (contrary to what Jedi Punk Rock said). And Gimp, Kerry P, and Myself shed a tear (and some booze) for our Chi-comrade, Rounders (aka, Darth Rounders). Gimp even had London Gas last night in his honor... Well kids, check out Katie C's play reading tomorrow, and if you're home, watch the ol' Silicon Summit on MSNBC taking at my theatre (8pm, MSNBC). And NO, it's not THAT kind of Silicon...unfornately. Adios. Paul is Dead. It's All About The Game (3/7/01) Hey folks. I have here provided what I promised: a gallery of the festive Birthday Celebration that took place this past weekend. Go peep the gallery (largest one yet, and it's only HALF the pictures I took all night!) and enjoy it. The "Pretty Girls and Waffles" episode of Ed was on tonightah. Muy Good. I have been working like a madman this week to accommodate ol' Tom Brokaw and his broadcast on MSNBC this weekend from my work. What Fun! Also, I've been playing with all of my birthday presents non-stop. I'm a hustler baby. So, a big happy 5-year Anniversary to my Gimp Girl, and I'm off to beddy-bye. Party Time. Excellent. Wooowoowoo (3/5/01)
On that note, I have many pictures to show you from the party, but they're not ready for viewing just yet...keep and eye out for them later in the week. But, as I promised last week, here is the gallery for the stupendous Wednesday Blend show from last Wed. Check it out. Well, a storms-a-comin, so I'm going to run now. But I'll be back tomarrie with some other news and fun jaunts. Till then, stay gold, and peep the Mysteries (link provided by Seester this week). |
