[One of my favorite intro songs ever, figured it would be worth it to use on the very first Mixtape.]

[The man may have an attitude, but he can write some SONGS.]

3. - "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding" by Elvis Costello

[He's Elvis.]

4. - "The Good Life" by Weezer

[Some folks forgot about that second little album, Pinkerton, but it fucking rocks. Plus it has the only "I'm in love with a lesbian" song I've ever heard...]

5. - "Nimrod's Son" by Pixies

[From the Dec. 15th NYC show, with Frants & I in attendance.]

6. - "Landed" by Ben Folds

[New tune from one of my favs, and many of yours as well.]

7. - "My Best Friend's Girl" by The Cars

[Forgot how good the Cars are, didja?]

8. - "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger

[Always enjoyed this song. Forgot about it. Heard it on the radio a few months ago. Brought it back out of retirement.]

9. - "Too Young" by Phoenix

[This song makes me want to get up and dance in my underwear when I hear it. It makes me smile. Plus, it was used in not only a Bill Murray movie, but also a Jack Black movie. Now THAT's chops.]

10. - "Eleanor Rigby" by Ray Charles

[I've always preferred this version. My dad absolutely loves it.]

11. - "Say Yes" by Elliott Smith

[Also one of my favorites. He will be missed.]

12. - "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" by Me First And The Gimme Gimmes

[Best. Punk. Cover. Band. Ever.]

14. - "27 Jennifers" by Mike Doughty

[Definite man-crush on Doughty. Just a cool fucking dude, who makes music I really dig. Plus, he's funny as well.]

15. - "Hip Hop" by Mos Def

[Looking forward to checking out the new album, but it has a lot to live up to in comparison to this one.]

16. - "Dime" by Cake

[Stevie C's favorite, he turned me onto them in a big way. Always enjoy them, and this is another one of those make me smile songs.]

17. - "Anecdote" by Ambulance LTD

[Speaking of smile songs, the Fop LOVES this one. Reminds him of "Oh Yoko" which, always makes me smile. So, I guess this one does, too.]

18. - "What Do I Get?" by The Buzzcocks

[Reminds me of Brother Ben, and it makes me bang my head to it every time I hear it. So, in honor of his birthday, I decided to go out on a bang for this one, and I think it worked well. Hope y'all enjoyed the first attempt. Adios.]
