A gaggle of friends whose ties are traced back to the same small town in upstate NY. Photography, humor, music and good times abound.

Tommy The Cat...

"REAL GONE" = real, real good. So good to have another album from the T-cat. He was hi-larious on the Late Show if anyone caught it last night. Listening to the album for the first time right now, so no big observations yet. But, if you go to the e-card above, you can download an mp3 from the album. Also, if you've picked up the "Future Soundtrack for America" form Move On and McSweeneys, then you have a copy of his simply beautiful song, "Day After Tomorrow", the first blatantly political song he's ever written. But, sorry, it doesn't come with this:

That, my friends, is strictly mine. But, I will give you some lyrics to taste upon.

"Day After Tomorrow"

I got your letter today
And I miss you all so much here
I can't wait to see you all
And I'm counting the days dear
I still believe that there's gold
At the end of the world and I'll
Come home to Illinois on the
Day after tomorrow

It's so hard and it's cold here
And I'm tired of taking orders
And I miss old Rockford town
Up by the Wisconsin border
What I miss you won't believe
Shoveling snow and raking leaves
And my plane will touch down
On the day after tomorrow

I close my eyes every nite
And I dream that I can hold you
They fill us full of lies, everyone buys
Bout what it means to
Be a soldier, I still don't
Know how I'm supposed to feel bout
All the blood that's been spilled
Will God on this throne
Get me back home
On the day after tomorrow

You can't deny, the other side
Don't want to die anymore
Then we do, what I'm
Trying to say is don't they pray
To the same God that we do?
And Tell me how does God
Choose, who's prayers does he
Refuse? who turns the wheel
Who rolls the dice, on the
Day after tomorrow

I'm not fighting for justice
I am not fighting for freedom
I am fighting for my life and
Another day in the world here
I just do what I've been told
We're just the gravel on the road
And only the lucky ones come
Home, on the day after tomorrow

And the summer it too
Will fade and with it
Brings the winter's frost dear
And I know we too are made
Of all the things that we have
Lost here, I'll be 21 today
I been saving all my pay
And my plane will touch down
On the day after tomorrow

Uptime, Downtime, All-Around-Town Time.

Wow. It's been a long time since we Rock and Rolled, huh? I wanted originally to update with some news a good three weeks ago, in congratulations to our beloved Site Maester, SiraDaM... But lo and behold, he steps on out in the world of wedded bliss and *poof* -- the site dies on us. It was down for about two weeks, as many of you know... (and I don't really know why, but I'm glad it's back). So, without furthur ado:

MONDO CONGRATULATIONS TO ADAM AND JENNETTE!

Absolutely beautiful, ain't they? And that fine mosaic gift was created by none other than our boy Pesci. Tech-tastic, if I do say so meself. In other congratulatory news, it seems that Sir Leon of the StarWarsHearted has hisself a brand new progeny! His beautiful baby girl, destined to rule us all with an iron fist has arrived, and you can read all about it at his website: www.leonlandgersing.com. May the Force Be With Her, of course.

And, since we're putting all the wonderousness of these past few weeks into one craptastic update -- we've got a second wedding to announce!

MONDO CONGRATULATIONS TO SETH AND MOLLY!

Our favorite J2S finally sealed the deal the the lovely Red-Headed one this past weekend in the Stowey Hills of Vermont. There was a fine 11-mile mountain bike session on Saturday to weed out the weak (luckily I held in there with motivation from Diesel as he kept running into my tires), and plenty of food, spirits, and 11-year old cousins to push around and play football with. Above, you can see Goldie in front of the SuperTent where much partying would take place. Below Above, you can see the President taking advantage of his very last night of bachelorhood. Luckily, I had my camera phone there to capture the moment and send it immediately to Molls and rat him out. She didn't seem to think that he would be able to get any action from them, though. Go figure. Either way, it was a beauuuuuuuuuutiful tearful ceremony where we all just couldn't believe that she was going through with it. I guess she must see something in him, which is beautiful in it's own right. (Oh of course I'm kidding, I know she only did it for the money... What? He doesn't have any money? I knew the ladies loved the Biggs, but I didn't realize how much, I suppose...)

But, I know I do love both of them, and I was proud to stand next to their huppah. *silent tear* Now, be sure to kick ass on your honeymoon, you crazy kids -- viva la Mexico!

And what else has happened in the last few weeks? Hard to remember. With all the travelling, the NFL season started and the Baseball season is suddenly winding down, I managed to get a cold this week in the 1st week of Fall, Frants became a Captain in SOCOM, Klove moved to Arizona, and I did NOT buy the new Star Wars DVD to everyone's shock and awe. But, I am planning on watching tons of Baseball this weekend, and will make the first Merry Maguires treck this Sunday (even though the Bills aren't playing... which, I suppose, is much better). I trust everyone is well, be excellent to each other, and I'll talk to you later.

Also, I hope to get copies of the wedding pics from Frant and Diesel in the next week or so, so a gallery should be up before 2007.

Whet your appetite for crazy as hell, because we're back!

Return of the Sinister Coast

The coast is back. With a vengence. Well, not really, but it's got a new look and some new stuff and maybe, you'll come by for a visit. AND NEVER LEAVE.

The new Sinister Coast is the messageboard home of the Mafia's West Coasters. (You know, that 'EVER GROWING GROUP'.)

So, join us. Cause you never know what's going to happen in LA. Or when you going to live here.
