It's been a busy few weeks, my friends. Weeks and weeks of workaday (pilot) drudgery excitement. (I've gotta say on the record, though, that spending a couple days inside NY City Hall was pretty sweet...)
Anyways, I was lucky enough to finally get a day off. And, because I love y'all so much, I decided to put up another mixtape for your listening enjoyment. I know our last mix went over SO WELL, and I didn't want to keep the public clamoring (in silence) for more, so I just put up our latest creation on Shuffle This.
It's another pen-pal mix from Matty and I, and it's called Songs That Rocked Your Pubescent Heart. So, this one's for all our mates at Hempfield High and Westborough High (especially my boy Jeff, who's had one too many wild rides in the past week). HHS/WHS Rulz!
A happy, hearty Friday to everyone. I hope your weekend rest, should it come, is well deserved. Some points of interest:
- WIMR makes it's return for a second season! We've got a new theme song, Bobo's getting a new computer, and it's the same old jamokes talking about the same old crap. Send in your requests, listeners.
- Frants is famous. That's right, America's next Ryan Seacrest (in more ways than one) is the host of the search for the Next Maytag Repairman. Head over to their website, and be sure to click on "Auditions". From there, watch the videos for the casting calls... and see our Frants take you on an entertaining adventure. Also, if you've got a hankerin' to look behind the scenes and see Frants trip, check out his photos. Some great HDR shots, as well as some lovely snaps of our left coast pals...
- I'm still enjoying the new camera, and I've got some nice nighttime and HDR shots on my flickr page.
So, enjoy this Friday. If you're bored, I know a radio show and a mixtape you could listen to to kill time...
And, as a celebration -- Matty and I have decided to put out the first of our tag-team Pen Pal mixes online for you to enjoy. Entitled "Songs You Are About To Love", it's a rollicking back-and-forth mix that we created last year. So, head on over to ShuffleThis.com and give 'er a download -- just don't forget to read the liner notes. They're half the fun (and half the battle).
Now, if you excuse me, I'm off to go play with my new toy. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend you pick one up for yourself.
